THE LITERARY SOCIETY The Literary Society meets on alternate Wednesdays during the winter. A full programme of talks by visiting speakers, discussions and slide show presentations is organized. New faces are always welcome.
The Parlour Players is an innovative and lively group, which brings together people
of all ages with an interest in drama and the theatre. The Players produce two full-
The Scottish Country Dancing Group meets on Tuesday evenings throughout the winter. The first half of the evening is especially for beginners so there's no need to let two left feet hinder you! Whether you come on your own or with a partner you will be equally welcome.
The Sanderstead United Reformed Church Lawn Tennis Club plays on two shale courts behind the church in Farm Fields. Membership is open to all. Several friendly matches are played each year against other local clubs as well as the usual club tournaments. The club’s facilities include the church tennis pavilion and changing rooms. |

TODDLER GROUP An active Toddler Group meets in the church hall at 9.30 every Monday morning. The
group has lots of toys and ‘making and doing’ equipment. Activities include painting
and play-
TUESDAY AT TEN GROUP The Tuesday at Ten Group meet on alternate Tuesdays in the church pavilion. The group is very active running its own busy programme of talks and demonstrations. .
WOMEN'S GUILD The Women’s Guild is a warm and welcoming group of women whose ages range from about 40 upwards. The Guild meets every other Tuesday afternoon for a varied programme of talks (some illustrated), demonstrations and so on. New friends can be made over tea and biscuits!
WORKING CIRCLE The Working Circle meets on alternate Tuesday afternoons in the church parlour. The circle aims to help out with the charity work of the church and other organisations both at home and abroad by practical means and donations. Meetings are held to produce articles and garments for sale to raise funds to supply these needs. |
